This web-site had been created by RED Initiatives Community Interest Company (CIC). The RED CIC team members comprise of a number of value based organisations and individuals who believe that the world of enterprise should be made accessible to everybody.

Economic Partnerships Limited
is a leading UK based social enterprise consultancy. With 15 years social enterprise development experience in the UK, Europe, Australia and Africa, Economic Partnerships has developed a host of resources to support the development of Social Enterprises, in addition to being involved in government policy development, planning and managing multi-million pound projects, helping establish some of the most successful social enterprises around, written books and much else besides.
Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities
is part of the Mental Health Foundation and is the leading UK charity working in mental health and learning disabilities. RED is part of the Foundations employment programme ‘In Business’ which supports people with a learning disability interested in self employment and small business ownership.
SFNE
is a North East based social firm development organisation. It has significant experience in staging training events and seminars, and managing business support programmes
Solutions 4 Social Enterprise Ltd
has co-ordinated a range of business start-up/support and training programmes funded through ESF, ERDF and LSC both in the North East and Nationally. SFSE features a special interest in Social Firm development, and is committed to creating employment opportunities for disabled people through self-employment.
Chris Taylor
A former Director of Social Care, Chris has over fifteen years' senior management experience in health and social care. Most recently Chris has developed an expertise in project management of service modernisation, particularly by using Individual Budgets as a catalyst for change.
Frank Millsopp
pioneered the establishment of COPE Limited in 1998. COPE is Scotland's award winning social firm support charity and features a number of significant trading entities including the Shetland Soap Co. In 2004 COPE won ‘The Best Community Business Award’ and the ‘Supreme Award’ in Dynamic Places. Frank left COPE in 2008, and now works overseas pursuing his career in international development.
